Mark is an experienced consultant and manager with over 28 years proven sales, marketing, coaching and executive management experience in the Business Process Improvement, Software Tools, Recruitment and Training industries. His background has taken in third-party maintenance, fixed price software development, training & consultancy, recruitment, Software Development, Business Process Management and Enterprise Architecture.
As a consultant mark has worked with clients all over the world, helping them to help themselves and increase the effectiveness of their business. He is considered something of a leading authority in the areas of Business Process Management and Enterprise Architecture. He has authored or co-authored 3 books and contributed to several others and is in demand as a conference speaker. He has been described as a “BPM Guru” by industry analysts, GartnerGroup (who chose Mark to lead the Process Analysis and Design workshops at their inaugural BPM conferences in the USA and UK in 2005) and as a “Master of Mindset” by IQPC

- Co-created of the “8 Omega Framework” A framework for Business and Process Transformation and Improvement
- As Chief Coach delivered the BPMG training program worldwide to critical acclaim.
- Conducted Process reviews in the Telecoms and Finance sector.
- Created new image and brand for a software tools company that led to sales more than doubling in two years and led to an eventual $40million sale of the company.
- Set up a new country unit for a European software company and took it to £750k of revenue inside 12 months - while making a profit!
- Demonstrated how to set up a new partner strategy for a Software Distributor that led to tripling of their sales in 3 years.
- Took a failing software distributorship and turned it to profit inside 12 months, while growing sales and reducing headcount.
- Set up branches of a High Street Sales Recruitment agency and propelled them to consistent top 3 positions in the country, inside 6 months.
- Developed an Agency Management System for a Technical Recruitment Company that led to them achieving a years worth of business in less than 3 months!
- From a standing start delivered 6 months of sales in less than one month for a Computer Recruitment Agency.
- Developed a new sales strategy that saw a small UK based training organization become a world force and doubled training revenues in 18 months.
- Set up and sold a sponsorship model for a membership organization that saw sponsorship more then double in less than 12 months.
- Created and executed a low cost PR strategy that saw a company get more press coverage in 6 months than they did in the previous 10 years!
Mark describes himself as a hard working goal oriented individual driven by success. He considers honesty and integrity to be his biggest strength and puts a lot of store by continuous professional development. Mark enjoys seeing people grow through learning. Most recently he has been studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Accelerated Learning techniques, and is now a certified Master Practitioner in NLP.
Consulting
Mark has provided consulting to users and vendors for over 10 years in the areas of business and process improvement, product management, marketing, sales and Public relations. In the Business Process arena he co-developed the 8 Omega Framework for Business Improvement, which he has used to help companies across all industry sectors.

Training
For much of the last 3 years Mark has traveled the globe delivering training 5 day courses on Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Process Analysis and Design. He has personally trained over 300 people and delivered seminars and workshops to an estimated 1,000 more. A key achievement was to be asked by leading industry analyst, GartnerGroup, to deliver a workshop on mapping and modeling at both their US and UK conferences in 2006 – these workshops were highly rated by delegates, each having drawn in excess of 150 people.
Feedback from delegates across all courses and 10 different aspects of the training courses has been excellent with average ratings of between 80% and 90%. Many of the delegates have also taken the time to provide written testimonials and given permission for Mark to use them.
Mark is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and a certified The Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner, in February 2007 he became a certified Coach and Licensed Trainer in NLP. All of which when taken together provide the strongest possible skill base for coaching and mentoring high performance teams and people.
